i didn’t wait for my niece to wake up from her nap and went ahead with my break today. But when she woke up, she insisted (by pointing at her food and pulling my hand) that i took a picture of her break, it has became a routine of hers too.

My slightly less-than-two-year-old niece loved the curry and ended up having sausage lookalike lips after eating. She dipped bread into the curry, stuff them into her mouth and action “good!” to us, we can’t stop laughing.

Legend has it that little tiger(or is it lion?) has the power to ward off evil spirit, especially for babies. And so, it became a popular gift for newborn (in the form of handicraft, of course). Doesn’t matter if this is true, i bought this creature (can’t tell if it’s tiger or lion) anyway for my niece simply because it is sooo cute!

Usually, my niece will sit on her toddler high stool, moving and waving her hands impatiently while i was taking picture. So most of the time, i will spare her from the agony and just shoot my own food. Today, surprisingly, she actually volunteered her plate to be included in the shoot. She can’t speak yet, so she held her plate high and murmured “er... er...”. Sooo cute!

pocky = childhood

Raisin toast (Again!! Because it’s my niece’s fav bread), chocolate biscuit sticks and coffee.

Pocky was one of my favourite snacks when i was a kid. And amazingly, till today, i still remember their tvc, especially the ending part where they showed a girl (on a bicycle?) eating pocky with a swinging hand action that my sis and i tried to mimic. It then ended with the brand name ‘Glico’ in high pitch. Ahh... childhood.

The weather is behaving like a little girl throwing tantrum – raining for a while, stop for a while, repeating the cycle over and over again since morning. But i seldom mind the rain (only when i have plans for outdoor activities), it keeps the weather cool.
